Blanton enjoyed much acclaim on his first book, Tales From The Porch. His second book, Fireside Tales continues where the first book left off. Again, Blanton draws many short-stories from memories of days of old -- simple times when stories were told around dinner tables, in general stores and wherever two or more people gathered.
